In the last edition of the Great Soviet Encyclopedia
there's an article about the famous Sikhote-Alin Reserve with a photo of
a small bay in the Sea of Japan. Why was this photo chosen to illustrate
the famous terrain nature reserve? Perhaps by chance. But still this bay
on the photo is relevant to an eighteenth century geographic |
